Had to return the item because it was a totally different product than the description. Initial response from RV Part Shop was a bit slow, but once I was contacted the issue was dealt with fairly and quickly.

We do our best to categorize the parts and provide advanced filters and searches that will allow customers to find the parts they need from our selection of over 100,000 items.  Also, we are always available by phone or email to answer questions and help you locate what you are looking for.

Answer: Unfortunately, shipping charges are not based on the item cost, so on small dollar purchases, they can seem excessive. We offer free shipping on orders over $99, you may want to consider bumping up your order to take advantage of that in the future.

So far parts delivered on two delivery. Still waiting for one part. Lack of feedback as to when I will get the other part.

Answer: We ship from the closest warehouse that has stock. Sometimes that means that items come in separate shipments from the other side of the country. Sorry for the delay.
Communication

Orders seem to come from different places resulting in packages From the same order arriving at different times. It would be nice to receive communication from you advising the number of packages being sent and when they are shipped. Otherwise, no complaints.

The representative I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Placing the order was easy. The lower rating on the RV Part Shop has to do with their carrier. Making sure we got the parts we ordered was unsatisfactory. Day and Ross was a nightmare to deal with. The wife made many phone calls to ensure we received what we paid for.

damaged, no credit

Unit showed up on time but the skid and packaging was clearly damaged. Open box and the unit is damaged and unusable. No problem to return it and received a replacement unit. Visa billed for two units with no credit for damaged returned unit after one week. Waiting on return call to get credit. Suggest that the packaging be improved for shipping.

Answer: Sure, we'll have the manufacturer send out a bolt bag to you. Happens frequently with the small bits, they tend to get forgotten or fall out in transit.
Area for improvement

RVPartShop has a great website and for the most part is very user friendly.

The complaint i have is related to shipping. When items are shipped to rural places we are not able to have door to door delivery. What we do is enter our box number and it is then dropped off at a depot in town, they call us and notify us that the package is ready for pick up. RVPartShop's system does not allow box numbers to be processed in their system. This is an area that needs to be improved, it seems like several Canadian places have the same problem. I can order large packages from certain vendors in the USA, enter my box number and receive it promptly and without issues.

Answer: The issue is that the courier companies cannot deliver to addresses with PO boxes only listed. We are working on offering Canada Post as a shipping option so that we can accept shipments to PO Boxes. Hopefully that will happen later this year. Thanks for your feedback.
