More info

Ready Brake extra cables by NSA RV Product. Supplemental braking systems are now required in many states and provinces when towing a vehicle. The Ready Brake is a mechanical surge brake activated by the forward movement of your towed vehicleÆs weight.0With Ready Brake installed you will increase your RVÆs brake life by using your carÆs own brakes, and reduce stopping distance. Ready Brake uses 80 percent of your carÆs own braking power to reduce stopping distance by 10 - 30 percent.0The Ready Brake can be used with any brand of tow bar, receiver style or ball style.0No need to make hydraulic modifications to the tow carÆs brakes. Ready Brake directly activates the towed vehicleÆs brake pedalûnever touching the hydraulic system.0By looking at the drawing below you will see how the Ready Brake is installed into the motorhome receiver and through the engine compartment of the towed car.0Once installed the Ready Brake works by utilizing the forward momentum of the towed vehicle to push the Ready Brake into itself, which in turn pulls the brake in the towed vehicle, thus using its own brakes to stop and not transferring the tow carÆs weight onto the motorhomeÆs brakes.0Lifetime warranty on the Ready Brake body (excludes the cables)."
